The purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines and establish procedures for all cancellations, refunds, and returns related to Sports Coaching Centre programming and events, including clear refund options.
To ensure that workshop cancellations, refund options, refund requests, and manual returns are reviewed appropriately and applied consistently throughout the Sports Coaching Centre.
This policy applies to all participants in Sports Coaching Centre programming and events. Sports Coaching Centre may make amendments to this document as needed, including updates to refund options.
Sports Coaching Centre does not cover travel or any other expenses for participants to attend any courses or events outlined in this policy unless communicated otherwise for a particular program. Transfers can only be provided between the same format of Sports Coaching Centre-hosted workshop (i.e. Online can only transfer to Online, In-person can only transfer to In-person, etc.). It is the responsibility of Sports Coaching Centre to notify registered participants and the Coach Developer when a workshop is canceled, but only if Sports Coaching Centre is the host. Additionally, Sports Coaching Centre reserves the right to collect an administration fee for all refunds as set out in this policy, which highlights the available refund options. Otherwise, the responsibilities and enforcement are as follows: it is the responsibility of the participant to notify Sports Coaching Centre of their cancellation; it is the responsibility of the host partner to notify registered participants, the Coach Developer, and Sports Coaching Centre of workshop cancellations; and it is the responsibility of the Coach Developer to contact Sports Coaching Centre if they are unable to facilitate.
If there are not enough participants enrolled to initiate a workshop, Sports Coaching Centre will inform the facility/venue, participants, and Coach Developer about the cancellation. Should a participant disregard this cancellation and travel to the workshop, Sports Coaching Centre will not take responsibility for any associated expenses, including but not limited to travel costs. Registered participants will have their spots transferred to the next available workshop of equal value or will receive a full refund if they cannot attend that session.
If a participant is unable to attend an S-PAM workshop, they must inform Sports Coaching Centre at least five (5) business days before the workshop starts. Upon receiving notification, the participant can choose from the following refund options:
1. Transfer to the same S-PAM workshop hosted by Sports Coaching Centre at a later date.
2. Transfer to a different S-PAM workshop hosted by Sports Coaching Centre at a future time and pay any applicable difference in fees.
3. Request a refund, which will incur a $10.00 administration fee.
If the notification to Sports Coaching Centre is received less than five (5) business days prior to the workshop start date, the participant can still select from these options:
1. Transfer to the same S-PAM workshop hosted by Sports Coaching Centre at another time.
2. Transfer to a different S-PAM workshop hosted by Sports Coaching Centre and pay any fee difference that may apply.
3. Obtain a refund, though this will incur a $20.00 administration fee.
If a participant fails to notify Sports Coaching Centre before the workshop begins, no refund will be issued, and extenuating circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. This cancellation and refund policy does not pertain to S-PAM Workshops occurring during a Sports Coaching Centre Special Event; please refer to the Sports Coaching Centre Special Event section of this policy for specific cancellation and refund procedures.
If notice of cancellation is given five (5) business days before the workshop begins, participants can expect refund options that include a refund minus a $5.00 administration fee. However, if notice of cancellation is provided less than five (5) business days prior to the workshop, a refund option will be available with a $25.00 administration fee deducted. In cases where no notification is sent to the Sports Coaching Centre before the start of the workshop, unfortunately, no refund will be issued. We understand that circumstances can arise, and all extenuating situations will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. If notice is given less than five (5) business days before the workshop starts, or on the day of the course, no transfers will occur, and our cancellation policy will apply. Again, all extenuating circumstances will be managed individually.
